This is a page with COVID-19 advice for our members and volunteers.
COVID-19 infection rates are high now in our local area, and also in the rest of the country.
So please do not come to Club if you have any of these COVID-19 symptoms beforehand:
Note that the info given on this web page is not all that is available about COVID-19; so if you need more advice,

So please do not come to Club if you have any of these COVID-19 symptoms beforehand:
- a high temperature – this means you feel hot to touch on your chest or back
- a new, continuous cough – this means coughing a lot for more than an hour, or 3 or more coughing episodes in a day
- a loss or change to your sense of smell or taste – this means you cannot smell or taste anything, or things smell or taste different to normal

We hope that all of our members have been fully vaccinated (which means you have had both your first and second jabs!) 😊 😊
But if, for any reason, you have not been able to have the jabs, we would like you to take a rapid Lateral Flow Test (LFT) on the morning before you are going to meet with everyone else at a Club session in the evening. This is a good thing you can do to keep yourself safe, and also to keep all of your friends in your Club safe as well. 😃
This is quite easy to do, and you can get a free pack of Lateral Flow Tests (LFT's) from any local pharmacy, or you can order them to be delivered to you in the post (at no cost to you) by going to the Government web site - please click the button below to order them online.

If you can not follow the instructions in the kit, please ask one of your parents or carers to help you to take the test.
(NOTE: It is also a good idea 😊 for everyone else [including fully jabbed people] to take these quick LFT tests every 3-4 days.)
If your test comes back negative😊, it is okay for you to go to Club in the evening. 😃 😊 😊 😊 😊 😊
But if the test is positive 😒 (which means you may have Covid-19, and could pass it on to other people) you MUST NOT go Club later on in the same day. If you did go to Club after a positive test, you could harm other people, including your friends at Club. 😒 😒 😒

If your test was positive, you then should start to self-isolate, and then take a full PCR test. Please click the NHS link below for info.
But whatever else you do after a positive test, you should NOT go to Club if you have any of the common symptoms of COVID-19 listed at the top of this web page, otherwise you could infect your friends, including Becky and all the volunteers and other carers.
We know this will be very disappointing for you😒 - but please respect other people.

IMPORTANT: You, or your parents or carers, should always make sure you have enough of your usual medication, and also food and other requirements, for at least 10 days at all times; in case you should have to self-isolate after testing positive for COVID-19.
Our official current COVID-19 Policy is available to view on this website under "ABOUT / POLICIES" - direct link below:
This is quite a complex document, so if any members are not able to follow it, please get your parents or carers to explain it to you.
